1. General Terms
Between the Guest and Yangphel Adventure Travel (“Yangphel / “We” / “Us” / “Our”)
By signature hereof, the Parties agree to be bound by the terms of this agreement. In the event of these Trading Terms not being signed by the Client, the placement of any Booking, whether by means of electronic mail or otherwise, shall be deemed to be confirmation that the terms of the agreement have been read and that the Client agrees to be bound by the same.
We accept reservations and reservations for all seasons and all dates. It is highly recommended to book the tour in advance to ensure sufficient time to make all necessary arrangements for your visit to Bhutan. If you book during the festival season, early booking of at least 90 days in advance of your actual travel date is recommended since flight seats and hotel rooms are limited during festival seasons
Final itineraries will reflect the following:
Details of Accommodation; Room type(s) and specification of hotels and camps; Meals or beverages are included, where and if applicable;
Transfers and transport where specified.
Entrance fees at temples, institutions, and cultural sites, wherever applicable.
Cost of trekking and tours as agreed.
Yangphel reserves the right to make alterations to and/or withdraw a Tour / Tour Series or any part of it as is deemed necessary and caused by delays or events beyond our control. In case of any variation in pricing due to these circumstances, Yangphel reserves the right to adjust the tour costs’ itinerary as necessary.

The price of the tours includes Yangphel’s fee for planning and arranging itineraries, handling and operational charges quoted on the current rate of exchange and tariffs at the relevant rate where applicable.
Scheduled activities will include an entrance fee where applicable.
A tourist shall be liable to pay a tourism levy known as the Sustainable Development Fee of USD 200 per person per night.
For most trips to Yangphel, a deposit of 10% of the per-person tour cost is required to confirm your booking. This is fully refundable as per the cancellation policy of Yangphel. Final payment will usually be due 60 days before you arrive in Bhutan. For some programs, including but not limited to luxury or 5-star hotels or travel around major festivals in Bhutan, a more significant deposit and/or an earlier final payment may be required. Where this is necessary, Yangphel will confirm the amounts and dates with you at the time of making your booking.
All cancellations must be made in writing to Yangphel Adventure Travel. Our standard cancellation and refund policy is as follows:
Cancellation received within 45 days of the program’s start: a full refund of your tour cost.
Cancellation received 44-15 days: 50% refund to your tour cost.
Cancellation received less than 14 days or without notice and after arrival in Bhutan- no refund will be made.
For some programs, including but not limited to luxury or 5-star hotels or travel around major festivals in Bhutan, cancellation and refund terms may differ from the above.
No full or partial refunds will be made after the journey has begun. No refunds will be made for passengers who voluntarily withdraw during the journey.
Flight booking and cancellation policy
Flights supplied by Yangphel Adventure Travel must be paid in full shortly after booking. Yangphel will confirm the exact amounts and deadlines with you at the time of making bookings with the airline.

6. Documents, Visa requirements and vaccination
All people require a legitimate passport for their journeys. Travellers should ensure that their passport is updated and legitimate for at least six months after their anticipated going back date. All non-Bhutanese residents require a pre-organised visa to go into Bhutan, irrespective of nationality. Yangphel will help arrange your visa as a part of your bundle as quickly as your itinerary has been finalised and the last price has been received.
There may be requirements for proof of Covid vaccination status to enter Bhutan. As of now, it is not necessary but do check with us at info@yangphel.com for the latest updates.
The Royal Government of Bhutan (TCB) mandates everyone to have travel insurance to visit Bhutan. Contact us at info@yangphel.com for details and to choose your plan that is worked out with Bhutan Insurance Limited.
In case of force majeure events such as issues relating to Bhutanese flights to international sectors, national and international disasters, the tourist or service provider shall be entitled to the refund of:
100% of the agreed service cost if the event happens four or more days before the availing of services; or
80% of the agreed service cost if the event occurs within three days from the service availing date.
Yangphel Adventure Travel reserves the right to pass on to you additional charges when, for reasons beyond our control, it becomes necessary to do so. Additional charges may include but are not limited to airport taxes, departure taxes, new or changed visa costs, increases or changes in the Bhutanese Sustainable Development Fee or other government levies.

7. Travel Insurance
The Royal Government of Bhutan (TCB) mandates everyone to have travel insurance to visit Bhutan. Contact us at info@yangphel.com for details and to choose your plan that is worked out with Bhutan Insurance Limited.
8. Force majeure event
In case of force majeure events such as issues relating to Bhutanese flights to international sectors, national and international disasters, the tourist or service provider shall be entitled to the refund of:
100% of the agreed service cost if the event happens four or more days before the availing of services; or
80% of the agreed service cost if the event occurs within three days from the service availing date.

Yangphel Adventure Travel reserves the right to pass on to you additional charges when, for reasons beyond our control, it becomes necessary to do so. Additional charges may include but are not limited to airport taxes, departure taxes, new or changed visa costs, increases or changes in the Bhutanese Sustainable Development Fee or other government levies.
