Yuthok brings a unique and diverse perspective to the team, shaped by an educational and professional journey that spans multiple countries. He completed ten years of schooling in Bhutan before attending boarding school in India. He then pursued his higher education at the prestigious United States Military Academy at West Point, where he not only gained a world-class education but also built lifelong friendships with individuals from diverse backgrounds across the globe.

Following his time at West Point, Yuthok returned to Bhutan and served as an Army Officer. This role allowed him to travel extensively to some of the most remote regions of Bhutan, further deepening his appreciation for both his homeland and his global experiences.

A passionate outdoorsman, Yuthok developed an early love for fly fishing, which has taken him to Bhutan’s most secluded rivers and streams. Through these travels, he has formed close relationships with local villagers, gaining a profound understanding of their way of life and maintaining a deep connection to his roots. His love for nature also extends to archery, Bhutan’s national sport, where he spends much of his free time honing his skills on the archery range.

Currently, Yuthok serves as the Director of Operations at Yangphel, where he applies his leadership and organizational expertise from his military background to manage and enhance the company’s operations. With his passion for nature and storytelling, Yuthok is not only a skilled leader but also an engaging hiking and touring companion—always ready to share captivating stories of his adventures.
