Tashi Namgay is a veteran tour leader both on cultural trips and trekking trips.  He started his career in guiding since high school days and is passionate about sharing the Bhutanese culture, tradition and Buddhist philosophy to his guests. His local knowledge comes from the earlier job he held as the assistant curator of the National Museum in Paro Bhutan. He has done extensive research on Iconography of Buddhist Art for Buddhist scroll paintings called Thangkas. He has fond memories of his fellowship at National Gallery of Art in Washington DC, USA and also participating in the WWF - International Tiger Conference. He holds a Bachelors Degree in English Honors from Delhi University.
