Tshering Phuntsho hails from Gaselo village in the Wangiphodrang district. He has always loved and been fascinated by the outdoors; thus, becoming an adventure guide was an easy decision. Driven by his love for adventure, he has scouted almost all of the trekking routes in the country. Today, Tshering specializes in bird watching trips and fly fishing. His interest took him to attend a bird watching course with the South Fork Natural History Society in Amagansett, New York. He speaks English, Hindi, Nepali, Tibetan and some Japanese.
