Namgay Rinchen is from Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. Before becoming a tour guide he started his career as a trekking crew tirelessly assisting guests into the mountains. Gradually, he upgraded himself into a guide having had many trainings under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Employment & Tourism in National certificate level 3 in Cultural, Trekking and as a Nature guide. He's been 5 times on the snowman trek. His passion (when not guiding) is in volunteering, reading books, biking, birdwatching and hiking.
